Commissioning, cleaning
Read the dampers position / k-factor of the scale through the marker in the handle. Calculate the air flow. Adjust if necessary. Remember that the pressure drop over the front can be neglected if you choke >40 Pa above the units. In other words; all commissioning can be carried out without the front if you choke the unit enough. The supply air unit are inspected and cleaned through disassemblement of the spreader, and the damper set to cleaning position.

Unhook the terminal plate carefully and connect the measuring cord to the tube. When connecting to measuring tube, don't let the terminal plate hang!

Tip!

Assess a stable pressure in advance to get a good distribution in resp. system. Calculate which k-factor that would be needed to give the stated air flow for the selected units.

Add the k-factor (position of damper) to the blueprints so that assembler can set up the units in advance. Often after that just fine adjustments are needed after delivery.

Example:
Set the pressure to 100 Pa in the corridor. A unit which then should have an air flow of 27 l/s should be set at k-factor 2,7 and so on. This is a very simple method!
